    2019-20 Season

    Who: 2010 and 2011 Birth Year Players

    What: Fun games are used to enhance the child's love for the game while improving their overall basic skill. This is a great stepping stone that helps prepare players for the select program. Players may register for the Academy or the Recreational league, but not both. For players looking for advanced training from professional coaches the Academy is the best choice.

    When: Spring 2020 Practices: Monday and Wednesday, 5:30-6:45 pm. The season will run for 10 weeks in the Fall, 10 weeks in the Winter (beginning in January), and 10 weeks in the Spring. Players also have the opportunity to play each week in our Futbol Fridays (5:30 - 6:30). These are essentially pick up games for the kids to express themselves and show off what they have been learning in training.

    Matches: Boys play on Saturdays and girls on Sundays

    Costs - Payment plans are available upon request. (Covers Fall & Spring)

    More info: There are no tryouts for the Academy. The Fall 10 week season will run from late August to late October. The Winter indoor season will begin in January and continue until we are ab.e to get outdoors for the Spring season - winter indoor training is held on SAturday mornings at the CV Sportsplex. The Spring 10 week season will run from late March to early June. All Academy players will practice together. The Academy teams participate in festival weekends run by Iowa Soccer. The dates and locations of said festivals are determined by Iowa Soccer prior to the beginning of each season. The Academy teams may also participate in 1-2 Jamborees (tournaments) per season (Fall & Spring).
